Learn how to practice yoga in a way that improves muscle strength and bone density.
Service Description
This workshop will teach you how to safely and effectively practice yoga poses that have been shown to improve bone density. You will learn modifications that can be used for various levels of practice. We’ll address key factors that impact outcomes, including: how often to practice, duration of the poses and application of effort. You will come away with a 12-minute yoga-for-osteoporosis sequence that you can practice daily, on your own.
Cancellation Policy
Classes are non-refundable unless you cancel your reservation 24 hours prior to the start of class. If you cancel within 24 hours because of injury or illness, you will be issued a class credit. If you do not cancel and do not attend you will be charged in full. Private sessions are non-refundable unless you cancel your reservation 24 hours prior to the start of the scheduled session. If you cancel within 24 hours because of injury or illness, you will be issued a class credit. If you do not cancel and do not attend, you will be charged in full. Workshops are non-refundable unless you cancel your reservation one-week prior to the start of the workshop. If you cancel within 24 hours because of illness, you will be issued a credit in the full amount of the workshop. If you do not cancel and do not attend you will be charged in full.
