WHY YOGA

An ancient practice that combines precise postures with breathwork and meditation, yoga leads a practitioner on a journey toward becoming present with whatever arises.

 

Yoga builds stamina and strength, while creating more spaciousness in both body and mind. By practicing yoga, we not only improve flexibility, alignment and balance, we also improve  our ability to tune in to ourselves and ride the waves life sends us with increased equanimity.

WHY PILATES

Using a precise sequence of exercises, specifically tailored to the needs of each client, Pilates builds physical strength and flexibility while cultivating stability and mobility.

 

Private classes utilize the reformer, tower, ladder barrel and mat to train the body, brain and nervous system to work effectively in concert with each other, improving alignment and efficiency of movement.
