The Workshop
Behavior-change is hard and takes time. If you have a lifestyle behavior you would like to change—a goal you struggle with but want to achieve—join us for this six-month behavior-change program. Led by Dr. Svenja Wolf of Florida State University, the program is designed using psychological theories of behavior-change, motivation, and social support and includes a day-long workshop on Saturday, April 6 (a delicious, locally-sourced lunch is included), self-guided workbooks, monthly check-in meetings, group exchange, expert contact, and a closure meeting in October
The Instructor
Svenja is an Assistant Professor of Sport Psychology at Florida State University. In her work, she focuses on the intersection of emotions and groups, and, as a certified sport psychology consultant, she is passionate about translating her research knowledge into practical change. Originally from Germany and educated in sport science, Svenja has studied and worked in the U.S., Canada, and the Netherlands and acquired additional training in exercise, social, and work & organizational psychology. A former track athlete, Svenja still enjoys running but also loves team sports and the great outdoors.
